Team Horizon, the global life sciences engineering solutions provider with an expert focus on the pharma and biopharma manufacturing processes, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark McLean as Chief Technology Officer.
Mark brings over fifteen years of experience in project management of capital projects in the pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical sectors to this new role. He also specialises in aseptic and sterile processing and is an expert on manufacturing sites and multi-product facilities. Previously, he worked as the Chief Operational Officer with Team Horizon until his new role as Chief Technology Officer.
Prior to this role, Mark worked as a Capital Projects Engineer with Allergan for equipment and facilities projects. As part of this role he consulted with pharmaceutical and medical device clients. Previous to that, he worked with Johnson&Johnson and Hewlett-Packard.
A Chartered Engineer, Mark holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Physics from Queen’s University in Belfast.
