Synology release first warranty extension package

Synology today launched Extended Warranty in 27 additional countries, bringing the total count up to 52. Extended Warranty is a cost-effective, two-year hardware warranty extension available to the latest Synology DiskStation devices, DS1517+, DS1817+, and their matching DX517 expansion unit, giving device owners additional peace of mind. The cost is €66 ex VAT.

Synology Extended Warranty is a bundled service available for purchase together with compatible devices. As of today, it is available in the following countries:
