Synology are delighted to announce the official release of a new model to our Synology j Series: DS416j.
The DS416j is equipped with Armada 388 Dual Core 1.3GHz CPU and 512 MB DDR3 memory.
The DS416j provides an outstanding read/write performance of 112.82 MB/s in reading and over 101.2 MB/s in writing.
Equipped with hardware encryption engine, the performance of encrypted large file(5GB) transmission has increased 58% in reading(50.19MB/s) and 3.8 times faster in writing(36.93MB/s), comparing with its predecessor DS414j.
With adjustable LED indicators function, DS416j can allow users to control the front LEDs based on its four-stage brightness setting and a customized schedule can be set on demand.
The target customer of DS416j is focus on home and personal users who seeks for massive storage capacity and building their own personal cloud or serves as a multimedia server.
The DS416j is backed with Synology’s 2-year limited warranty and costs €249 excluding VAT.
