Mary Carty is an entrepreneur with a background in the arts, culture and technology. Now Partner at Wilson & Keys, she works with international technology, creative and cultural clients.
Previously, Executive Director at Blackstone Launchpad, NUIG and CEO of BAFTA nominated agency Spoiltchild, Mary sits on the board of Science Gallery International and Branar Téatar do Pháistí. She has lectured widely on business development and entrepreneurship with a particular interest in creative and cultural innovation.

Mary cofounded Outbox Incubator in London in 2015 working with girls aged 11 to 22 to address the lack of women in STEAM. In 2017, she represented Ireland on the IVLP program with the U.S. Department of State focusing on entrepreneurship policy and SME development. In 2019, she became an advisor to the Star Venture programme with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
Over lockdown, Mary established AwakenHub, a community to support female founders from the Island of Ireland and her diaspora with Mary McKenna, Clare McGee and Sinead Crowley.
As a judge, she has worked with Nordic Game, FinTech 20, Digital Media Awards and the Women in Tech Awards.
Mary holds a BA in Fine Art Sculpture from LSAD, an MA in Visual Culture and an Advanced Diploma in Management Practice and Business Administration from Ulster University.
