Paris- STATION F announced yesterday the launch of a new in-house startup program focussing on FemTech companies. This program will join the two first in-house programs of the campus, the Founders Program and the Fighters Program, both launched in 2017. STATION F’s FemTech Program will welcome around ten early-stage companies for six months twice a year. Applications for the first batch are now open online and available until October 3.

New in-house program focussing on FemTech

“FemTech represents a huge challenge to improve women’s health however companies in this field face multiple barriers, whether it’s funding or growing their businesses. At STATION F, we think that there is a huge opportunity for startups to make women’s life easier and that’s why we decided to create the FemTech Program”, explained STATION F’s Director Roxanne Varza.

Created with the support of 50 FemTech experts, the program will provide exclusive tools and resources as well as resources from the campus, to early-stage FemTech entrepreneurs. Members of the program will access a dedicated workshops track to learn from FemTech entrepreneurs and experts and will also benefit from office hours with VCs backing FemTech startups. We know that raising is a huge challenge for FemTech companies so our team has been working on creating a list of VCs and Business Angels investing in this domain.

During the past months, STATION F had the opportunity to welcome a few FemTech entrepreneurs. “In STATION F’s FemTech Program, I ended up meeting one of my investors, which is great because it helped me close my pre-seed round. I learned so much about fundraising and got to meet other women and talk about the problems that we have as CEOs and founders of FemTech startups”, explains Emma Butler, founder of Intimately.

Applications for STATION F’s FemTech Program are now open until October 2. Any FemTech company willing to join can apply here. Selected startups will join STATION F on November 18 for six months.
