Whisky Flavour provides the opportunity to all Whisky Lovers to taste different whisky in an easy and regular basis. Through our Subscription Tasting Box, everyone can experience as many different brands and types of whisky as they like, in an affordable manner, since you can taste at least four whiskies, monthly. Whisky brands will have the chance to reach much more prospects and create a long time relationship with more consumers, since more people will be aware of much more ranges.

How are you different?

While so many other similar companies offer rebottled whisky (from a normal size whisky bottle they would fill up several sample sized bottles), at Whisky Flavour we only provide genuine, original branded miniatures in all of the subscription boxes we offer. That way our consumers can be confident about all whisky they will be tasting.

Why will the company / product do well?

We believe in our product and we are sure that all of our prospects can find the utility in it as well. The main reason we can point to our success have to be the way that we treat every client and dedication to provide an original and positive experience. We can also assure the quality and veracity of the products, in this case, the whisky samples we offer, so we believe our customers can recognize more value in that.

Where are you based?

We are based in Lisbon, Portugal. Lisbon is actually a great city to start a new venture and for launching startups.

When was the company launched?

We just launched our website and services about a month ago, and we are still making improvements day by day in order to provide the best experience to our visitors and customers.

What have been your biggest wins to date?

Since we launched a month ago, we have nothing big to report just yet, but we work in that direction.
What type of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product?
Our offer would be the right fit for everyone who not only loves this beverage but is enthusiastic in tasting and discover new brands and flavours. Our clients are mostly men, between the ages of late 20’s to 40 and belong to the middle class and upper class. They have an affinity for different kinds of whisky (from scotch to bourbon) but mainly they tend to like older whisky.

Tell us about your team?

Whisky Flavour has a dynamic and creative team of three.

Rui Guerra is the whisky aficionado and expert in everything digital related. With previous entrepreneur experience and the sensibility necessary for whisky tasting and businesses, he is responsible for all the brands and types of whisky we have available, as well as the business development at all fronts.

Sandra Marques is responsible for keeping Rui Guerra far from one too many whisky bottles and the digital marketeer. She works with Rui Guerra at all digital medias and channels and both find ways to communicate the brand. She also packs the tasting sets and deals with shipment.

Rui Gaio is a talented web designer that collaborate with us whenever is necessary.

What are you long term plans for your product / company?

It is Whisky Flavour’s vision be a reference in this sector, and take a new approach to the way that consumers and brands interact. More importantly, we started this so more people who like whisky, could affordably taste it (especially those brands that is not always easy to get hand on), and provide them a nice experience and extensive whisky’s repertoire.
