Describe the company – the elevator pitch … is a central online enrollment system for primary schools. Our site allows parents to search, filter, shortlist and securely apply to, any registered school in Ireland, keeping track of all their applications for one or more children over many years. will give schools the ability to receive, sort and store student applications in a secure online account. The online system will facilitate tailored correspondence with parents through its online document organiser, including sending receipts and school policies to more than one parent at a time. Schools will also be able to tailor their own application form and with real-time information retrieval from parent accounts, schools have access to the most up-to-date information in their received applications, on which to make decisions.

How are you different?

Primary school enrolment has barely changed over the years, with the vast majority of schools still taking in paper applications. A survey of schools and parents commissioned by found that although 75% of parents contacted a school in person to enrol their child, 81% would prefer to apply online and 52% of schools used a paper document as the only method of storing the information, despite some schools storing enrolment forms for up to 5 years. brings the application process into the 21st century and enables schools to manage student registrations online, helping streamline the application process for both schools and parents in Ireland.

Why will the company / product do well?

Our research shows that overwhelmingly, parents want to be able to send primary school applications online and will be able to do so on our site from 1 September 2016 for a nominal fee of €12.50. In return, schools registering with our site can avail of our free enrolment administration software and exposure for their school on a nationwide platform. This will vastly reduce the time spent by schools administering applications, as well as reducing the cost to the school in terms of paper and postage to parents.
