Describe the company – the elevator pitch …

Click Witchery presentations are created by teachers, realtors, graphic designers and others who want to create web based interactive content. Starting with a central image you add graphics and other media which the viewer can access by clicking on an area or icon. We have made creating complex web based interactive content easy and fun.

How are you different?

Prior to Click Witchery you could create interactive content which would help you sell a house or teach some concept. However, you would have to use complex and expensive software or hire a programmer. We have made it easy and fun to create interactive web content.

The closest competitor to Click Witchery is a company called ThingLink. They use icons to mark where the graphic is interactive. We have gone beyond this and can mark an area as interactive as well as using an icon. We also allow the creation of multi-level interactive content.

Another differentiator with Click Witchery is we will be suggesting that anyone using our free account for commercial purposes donates something to their favourite charity.

Why will the company / product do well?

There are a lot of brilliant creative people out there. They want to create great interactive content on their websites. Click Witchery will succeed because we will enable them to do this.

Where are you based?

At the moment, virtual. The company was founded by a Polish guy living in Ireland and an Irish guy living in Poland.

When was the company launched?

The company will officially be launched at Halloween 2016. We made the software and website available in the middle of May and we will start our first open beta at the end of July.

What have been your biggest wins to date?

This has yet to come but we are getting a great reaction to our software.

What type of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product?

We are initially aiming at three sectors.

Real estate – Our software was originally used by companies selling apartments in Warsaw. We believe that real estate agents will see Click Witchery as a creative and intuitive way to present their properties.

Education – We believe that teachers will appreciate Click Witchery. They are also an exciting and wonderfully opinionated group to work with. We want our future customer to demand great software.

Web & marketing – Interactive content gives the power to the viewer to create their own journey through a website.

Tell us about your team?

Wojtek and Peter, our founders, first started working together in 1995 in Dublin. They worked for the translation company Berlitz GlobalNET which was later acquired by Lionbridge. Translation is something that has been round an awful long time. The main focus of Wojtek and Peter’s job was to find new smarter ways of delivering this service. They created the world first commercial online translation service and built that up to a successful revenue stream which is still going strong today. They were one of the first to use web services in a commercial setting.

After 11 successful years working together they both went on to do different things. Peter helped turn Kilgray, a translation technology company, into the leaders in its field. Wojtek created technology which helped estate agents and others sell homes. The inspiration for Click Witchery came from there.

In 2016, over twenty years since they first started working together, Wojtek and Peter have launched a new company, Click Witchery.

Wojtek lives in Maynooth, Ireland and is Polish.

Peter lives in Warsaw, Poland and is Irish.

What are you long term plans for your product / company?

Our plan is to officially launch Click Witchery at Halloween, 2016. We will focus on three sector; real estate, education and web & marketing. North America, Ireland and the UK are our initial regional focus. However, we are laying the ground work at the beginning so that we can go globally without having to go back to drawing board.

What are your favourite tech gadgets?

I know it is old, very old, tech but the wheel is absolutely fabulous technology. Without it, we would probably still be hunter gatherers.

What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?

I would suggest a tech guru rather than a gadget. I first started reading the insights of Gerry McGovern in 1995 when he wrote for Hotpress. Then he was predicting and helping invent the future. He is still doing that and has wonderful insights into how to do business via the web. http://gerrymcgovern.com/

Anything else you’d like to add / we should have asked?

More than anything we now want brilliant creative people (yes, I mean you) to start using Click Witchery. We are looking forward to working with demanding users who will help us build something wonderful.

How do people get in touch with you?

I would love to hear from people interested in what we are doing. My email is [email protected]. Our website is http://clickwitchery.com/. You can sign up and start using Click Witchery here: https://sys.clickwitchery.com/login
