Dublin City Council are coordinating an exciting business event in Ballymun on 14 April.
Speakers from a wide variety of companies are sharing their startup and business growth experience
Hear from
- Gavan Walsh of ICabbi , the world’s leading cloud based taxi dispatch system
- Yinka Martin of Hairweavon, wig and hair extension specialists
- Kate Cronin of Obeo, the fuss-free way to recycle your food waste
- Ciara Troy of Oiishi Foods, makers of high quality, authentic Japanese food products
The event will promote entrepreneurship in Ballymun and nearby, with 4 entrepreneurs speaking about the development of their businesses, sharing their stories and what they have learnt.
Startup Ballymun has been endorsed by Eoin Costello of StartupIreland “Great to see grassroot entrepreneurial community initiatives like this emerge outside city centres”.
The event will be launched by Mark Kellett CEO of Magnet Networks, MC for the evening is well known startup adviser Billy Linehan of Celtar.
Liam Barry of the Economic Development Office in Ballymun is the organiser for Dublin City Council.

Starts off at 4.30pm with information stands from local agencies & fee business mentoring available.
Agencies attending are; the Business Resource Centre of Dublin City Libraries, Business4Business (Ballymun business network), Innovate Dublin, North Dublin Chamber, the Dublin North West Area Partnership and LEO Dublin City – who are offering business mentoring to attendees
