Starcircle, the Irish talent sourcing engine that helps companies scale by accessing pipelines of undiscovered talent, has announced that it will host a new annual global talent conference on 30th September at the Dean Hotel in Cork.
Entitled Supernova, the one-day event will bring together talent leaders from some of the world’s largest and most innovative companies, including Amazon, Brex, Cisco, and Snap, to address recruitment challenges and set the agenda for the future of talent acquisition.
In the face of a growing global talent shortage, topics will centre around the practicalities of sourcing and recruiting from the present talent market. Among the confirmed speakers are Monica Pool Knox, former CHRO at LivePerson; Matt Belitsky, Sales Operations leader at Brex; Tami Floden, Global Talent Acquisition Leader with DoorDash; and Anastasia Flores, Director of Recruiting Enablement at Snap.
The guest speakers will join Starcircle CEO, James Galvin; Chief Commercial Officer, Colin Hickey; and Director of Human Resources, Brita O’Connor, to address the strategic and pragmatic ways organisations need to change to survive and thrive in today’s and tomorrow’s recruitment environment, beset by pains like talent shortages and skills gaps.
“We’re extremely excited to bring such prestigious thought leaders to Cork,” said James Galvin, Starcircle CEO. He continues, “Tapping into undiscovered talent is Starcircle’s North Star and what we see as the future of recruitment. Not only is it essential for improving diversity, equity and inclusion, but it’s also a massive piece of the puzzle when it comes to talent and skills shortages. That’s why we built our advisory services and tech products around it.”
“Our attendee list is a veritable who’s who of recruitment, talent, HR, and people heads, directors, chiefs, and presidents from across the globe,” said Galvin. In sharing our perspectives and approaches, we hope to raise awareness of the need for a more strategic, long-term approach to recruitment and innovate new, better practices that are fit for the new world of work.”
Attendance at the Supernova event is by invitation only. For information about future events, contact events@starcircle.com
