Here is a short list of some of the free Twitter tools available to help you manage your Twitter account. My personal favourites are 1, 2 and 5.

  1. Hootsuite – schedule and manage your Twitter account (best use is with Twitter lists)
  2. Statusbrew (formerly) Unfollowers.com –  lists those you are following and not following you
  3. Storify.com – find, collect, and share what people are saying (type of search)
  4. Sopularity.com/ – hashtag suggestions
  5. Tweriod – best time to tweet
  6. Klear – Listening, analytics, influencer search
  7. Events – Tweetbeam and Tweetwall – Displays tweets or hashtags for events
  8. Pocket – saves articles for reading later
  9. BuzzSumo – identify most shared links and key influencers for any topic
  10. Tweetreach.com – how far your tweets reach
  11. Refollow – helps find accounts with commonalities
  12. Tweetdelete – deletes tweets before specified date
  13. TweetEraser – web tool filter and delete bulk tweets
  14. Social Crawlytics – identify influencers and your competitors most shared content
  15. Piktochart – infographic maker (not just for Twitter)
