The Social Media Summit 2017 will take place in Croke Park on April 11th and 12th. Cogs & Marvel – formerly known as Green Light Events – has this year taken the reins to host the event, which debuted in Aviva Stadium in 2016. Founder, Samantha Kelly, set up the Summit to bring together the largest gathering of social media professionals for the first time in Ireland. This year, they will be bringing the best of Irish and global speakers from top digital agencies and brands. The event will include two days of motivating talks, panel discussions and workshops to put your Social Media learnings into actions.
The Summit will focus in on the high-profile success stories of Social Media professionals blazing a trail in the market. Learn how they succeeded and what you can do to emulate their success. Discover the next big thing in Social Media and how to use it. Understand what you need to do to get the right return on your Social Media investment. Most importantly, learn how to make your Social Media pay.
Speaking of this year’s event, Cogs & Marvel Co-Founder, Roisin Callaghan, states; “We attended the first Social Media Summit last year and immediately realised that this event is going to grow and grow. We believe in the power of social media to build businesses. And while last year was a showcase of all things social, this year we are bringing much more of a commercial focus. Social Media Summit 2017 is the place where marketeers who want a real return on their Social Media Investment need to be. With Cogs & Marvel managing everything from registration, production, design, and logistics this year promises to deliver a bigger and better experience for everyone.”
Samantha Kelly, aka The Tweeting Goddess, initially founded the Social Media Summit in 2016 as there was a void in Ireland at the time with no event or conference that had a core focus on Social Media; particularly the importance of incorporating it into your brand, your strategic planning and not just doing it, but getting it right.
This year teaming up with Cogs & Marvel, founder, Samantha Kelly said; “I’m thrilled to be partnering up with Cogs & Marvel, who are leading worldwide event managers, and will ensure this event rocks even more than last year. The inaugural event in 2016 created such a wonderful positive atmosphere and a great buzz amongst attendees and visitors to Dublin. We are looking forward to meeting lots of new people and rekindling those relationships we made last year.”
