Snapchat Makes It Easier To View Stories

This article originally appeared on 60 Second Social.

Snapchat has made it easier to view stories and has brought in a small but crucial change for when you want to look at a 300 second Snapchat story. Previously you had to hold your thumb on the screen for the entire Snapchat story so that it would play all the way through.

Well now you will be able to view snaps and stories of any length with just a single tap as opposed to keeping your finger or thumb pressed on the screen. Snapchat announced the changes on their blog this week along with several other small changes such as the option to Add Nearby.

If you are standing with a group of people and you want to add each other on Snapchat then all you have to do is open the Add Nearby screen and you will be able to add everyone to your list just like that. The app is also including selfies in the center of your Snapcode so that people can recognise you when you add them.

You can also add people using screenshots of Snapcodes, so if someone tweets a photo of their Snapcode you can screenshot it and then use that screenshot to add that individual in your Snapchat.

All of the changes are currently available for iOS and an update for Android is due to follow soon.
