Healthcare experts from across Ireland will meet in Belfast’s W5 next week to attend SMART NI’s “SMART Health” conference with the key theme of the day focusing on “Where Technology meets Industry.”
Organised in partnership with Diamond Recruitment’s new division ‘Diamond Medical,’ this inaugural event takes place on Thursday, May 17th in W5 Odyssey, Belfast.
Health experts, professionals and practitioners from across Ireland will gather to discuss the impact of technology on the Healthcare sector and how it is disrupting this sector.
The conference will also mark the launch of Diamond Recruitment’s new division ‘Diamond Medical’. Topics under the spotlight include how technology is enhancing the practice of personalised medicine through data and patient-centric treatment.

Connectivity and 5G network will be discussed and its implications on emergency service provision and how technology is changing so rapidly that the health sector is required to futureproof hospital design.
Belfast City Council will discuss how it is fostering innovation and technology for better health and wellbeing of citizens. The implications of online virtual reality on healthcare will be discussed, including how it is effectively turning patients into players.
GDPR and the realities for Healthcare providers will be explored by Napier & Sons. Continuing on the theme of data, the conference will look at how analytics is enhancing the mapping and editing of genomes and thus revolutionalising Healthcare. Moreover, data and the implications on cardiology trends and technology will open the discussion for how the “6 Billion Beats Baby is sooner than we thought!”
Apps developers will be in attendance to discuss the future of medical health apps plus how app development is connecting care workers and their employees.
