SkyTao will be the world’s first consultation network on the blockchain, Tian Xia founder

By @SimonCocking interview with Tian Xia who has been working in Wall Street for more than 10 years. He has used mathematical models and AI algorithms to help him in his latest venture as founder of SkyTao, an innovative idea that builds on the blockchain to provide a secure and easy way to share and save information.

What is your background briefly?

I had been working in Wall Street for more than 10 years. I am mainly responsible for using mathematical models and AI algorithms to build bond-related automatic trading system. My model processed thousands of bond price analysis and risk assessments per second and offers clients comprehensive investment advice on the bond portfolio. My automated trading algorithm replaced the company’s expensive labor (saving 80% labor) and received good customer feedbacks. After constant revision and improvement, my model has operated maturely and commercially for more than 5 years. I earned Master of Science in Financial Engineering from Columbia University in 2007.

I also ranked top 60 in China Mathematics Olympiad 1998 and got admission to the School of Mathematics in Peking University without normal National College Entrance Examination. I earned B.S. in Probability and Statistics from Peking University in 2002 and an MBA degree from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business in Shanghai in 2006.

Does it seem like a logical background to what you do now?

I have all the 3 essential skills for blockchain: Math/IT/Finance. Those valuable backgrounds give me a huge advantage for my projects.

I also gained extensive experiences in the advisor industry and financial advisor industry by working for the biggest financial advisor firm in the USA. Those valuable experiences brought me many innovative thoughts and ideas on problems and issues of advisor/ financial advisor industry and its solutions. After giving the right incentives, both clients and advisors will work much better than what they did now. Clients need privacy feathers and advisors need more fairly incentives. I will exert my utmost skills to use Blockchain to improve the industry’s practice and standard.

SkyTao is an innovative idea that builds on the blockchain to provide a secure and easy way to share and save information.

By using the block chain to keep track of who has access to which information in encrypted form, users and experts will be able to fully control the exchange and availability of information and knowledge sharing.

Information is power; knowledge is power. SkyTao aims to be the decentralized repository and network for our shared human knowledge base.

Why did you get involved with this ICO?

I was also a cryptocurrency investor since 2015 and managed a private Crypto-fund. I also invested in an astrology school and website (nodoor.com) as a major angel investor. Everybody needs privacy when asking some sensitive questions. Many of my partners of astrologist thought that their clients would ask more questions if their privacy would be respected.
