Overcoming COVID-19 has incurred unprecedented human & economic costs globally. Unlike prior economic crisis, which was normally caused by financial bubbles, economic or monetary policy mistakes or oil, the current crisis is a global shock exacerbated by health induced supply and demand-side failure.

Experts have warned that this is not just a temporary hiccup but a serious wake-up call for something more serious. There are some countries pushing for “Fast Recovery” & “Return to Business” as usual with some quick fixes.

However, there are also many strong drives from various global leaders to “Build Back Better” with sustainable improvements. A good example is the recent calls by the UN, World Economic Forum & the G20/B20 on “Building Back Better” post-COVID with international collaborations.

To facilitate greater international collaboration and understanding, Henry and Simon are conducting a series of global podcasts with distinguished international thought leaders from both the East and West. These thought leaders will be discussing key topical issues including:

Youth:
Simon and Henry will be talking with Wilson Yau, senior IT Project Manager and a highly respected youth leader in the China region through his work as District 89 Director for Toastmasters International; and Patrycja Jurkowska, chartered accountant with GOAL Global, One Young World Ambassador and former JCI Dublin President.

Technology:
Simon and Henry will be talking with Ivan Marten, Senior Partner Emeritus in BCG & Chairman of Orkestra – Basque Institute of Competitiveness; and Jeff Caselden, co-founder and principal at Caselden Consulting, Director of Aspeire Consulting Group and former GM of Amazon Ireland.

Climate change:
Simon has absolute pleasure in talking with Henry Wang about his expertise and views on all matters of climate change.

Healthcare:
Simon and Henry will be talking with Dr Sally Luk, Hong Kong based consultant surgeon with the HK Health Authorities & President of the Rotary Club of Taipo; and Nick Northcott Sydney, Australia based Partner in Chrysalis Advisory, Executive Director, Immediation and Executive Chairman, Eudaemon Technologies.

Simon and Henry will also be interviewing other major international leaders including Government Ministers, Philanthropists, Business School Deans and arts & media, leadership, culture, ethical leadership, talent management experts and thought leaders and more.

Simon and Henry hope that these open exchanges of views with international thought leaders from both the East and the West should help foster greater international understanding and cooperation.

All episodes will be featured on all leading podcast channels, YouTube, and social media.
