Servecentric’s cloud platform a perfect fit for Profitsflow ERP hosting

Profitsflow is a leading Irish provider of fully integrated ERP software solutions for the manufacturing and field services sectors.  The company specializes in the implementation and support of the EFACS E/8 ERP business system and user training to ensure maximum ROI for their clients.

Profitsflow’s Challenge

Profitsflow has grown its business successfully since its inception in 2009 and had a large client base across Ireland and in the UK. Most clients originally installed on-premise solutions with a small number hosted with a UK based cloud provider. As a result, the delivery of support services and release updates became more of a challenge and the company’s control of underlying infrastructure was limited.

The company was already exploring public cloud hosting opportunities, but with Brexit and Covid-19, this requirement became significantly more pressing and the company set about choosing a locally based cloud hosting provider that would help them with their cloud strategy and improve overall customer outcomes.

The Solution

Profitsflow required a solution that would provide consistent, high performance and availability. Additionally, cost certainty was important as the company plans to encourage all existing customers to migrate from on-premise to cloud and employ a cloud-first strategy for new clients.

Additionally, Profitsflow required a cloud partner that could closely support them during the initial PoC and later, migration phases of the project to ensure the system performance was in line with customer expectations and requirements at a minimum.

Finally, the company needed to have a business partner that would support the platform post-installation, leaving Profitsflow to focus on the software implementation and customisation elements of each installation.

Servecentric Enterprise Cloud (SEC) was selected as Servecentric could deliver, not only against the technical demands but also the business partnership requirements of the organization. The PoC phase showed that the platform delivered exceptionally from a performance perspective and the linear pricing model ensured that the company had complete cost control with every deployment.

“Profitsflow have a clear plan around their cloud strategy and we were delighted that they selected Servecentric Enterprise Cloud. It was important that we were able to simplify the platform enablement for them, allowing them to focus on the client-facing customisation elements of their implementations.” Brian Roe, CEO Servecentric.

The Impact

Following on from the success of the first set of client migrations, Profitsflow are now engaged in an active program to migrate their client base to SEC.  Consistent performance and reliability have been key to this success and further cost savings have been achieved due to reduced resource requirements in some cases.  Additionally, the company has benefitted from the direct and accessible support services available 24x7x365 when they have needed a helping hand.

“This was a game-changer for our implementation team. We have a simple to manage, centralised hosting platform that fits our business model perfectly. The team at Servecentric work closely with us and there is definitely a business partnership approach to everything we do with them.” Tadhg Henderson, Managing Director, Profitsflow
