Servecentric, a leading Irish Data Centre and Cloud Services provider, will launch its Dublin-based Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform, Servecentric Enterprise Cloud to the UK market at the upcoming Cloud Expo Europe 2020 on the 11th and 12th March in the ExCel Arena, London.

The service, which was launched successfully in Ireland in November 2018, builds on Servecentric’s significant experience providing colocation, connectivity and managed services to a global client base over 17 years. The platform, built in collaboration with CloudSigma, allows Servercentric to provide a state-of-the-art, pay as you go Public Cloud services from their Dublin Data Center.

Servecentric’s facility is built to Tier 3 specifications. The Data Centre is diversely and directly connected to the T50 metropolitan link via over a dozen Tier 1 and Tier 2 telecoms carriers. Customers’ data is in safe hands with Servecentric boasting a proven track record, backed by ISO 9001, ISO 20000, ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS certifications.

“Servecentric launched our cloud service in November 2018 as the feedback we had been getting from our clients was that hyperscale cloud offerings were becoming increasingly complex and difficult to cost control, particularly in hybrid scenarios. Moreover, the requirement for additional support from third-party partners or premium vendor services was significantly impacting the cost justifications for cloud consumption,” says Brian Roe, Commercial Director, Servecentric.

Following initial success in the Irish market, Servecentric is now launching these services to the UK market. Their ultimate goal is to expand the footprint and build out new cloud instances within the UK itself. Thanks to the partnership with CloudSigma, Servecentric Enterprise Cloud has set out to be different on a number of fronts, not least of which is the provision of direct chat support, 24x7x365 for all clients, with an average response time of less than 30 seconds. The service also supports almost all Operating Systems and x86 applications, unmodified. This facilitates easy migration to and from the platform as required.

Additionally, for hybrid deployments, Servecentric can provide ultra-low latency 1Gb or 10Gb backbone with no need for expensive carrier services or port connect charges.

Servecentric’s cloud offering in Dublin is part of a global network of CloudSigma powered Public Cloud instances. Clients can operate (and seamlessly migrate) services across a number of sites without any modification and with guaranteed consistency of performance, regardless of location.
