Seminar: Protect your business, defend your data!

Datapac and Datto, in association with Wexford Chamber, will host a seminar entitled ‘Protect your business, defend your data!’ on Tuesday, September 13th 2016 in the elegant surroundings of The National Opera House, High St, Wexford.

Experts from Datapac and Datto will outline and analyse the threats facing modern Irish organisations, and provide advice on the top strategies to effectively protect, manage and recover data in line with industry best practice.

Recent research carried out by Datapac, in association with TechPro, found that over 90% of SMBs have lost business data at one point or another. Whether it’s due to sophisticated cyber-attack or simple human error, the loss of sensitive information and unplanned downtime will represent a significant business risk for Irish organisations in 2016.

Seminar attendees will learn to identify and know the true causes of data loss, and how to calculate the real cost of downtime for their business. Specialists in data backup and recovery will also present a live demonstration of a disaster recovery procedure, highlighting how best to recover compromised data.

Finally, attendees will learn to develop comprehensive strategies to protect their businesses should disaster strike.

For more information and to register your attendance visit http://bit.ly/2bLrt8p. The event is free to attend and runs from 8:45am – 10:15am.
