Samsung has announced that it’s ever popular device has passed the 20 million sales mark. It took seven months to hit that target overtaking the original Galaxy S for speed of sales and now hovers around the 22 million sold mark.
The SGSII has been a huge hit due to it’s slim design, Super AMOLED Plus display and high processing specs. The device has led the surge in Android Smartphone sales over the last year.
It’s believed successor, the Galaxy S III, is due to launch sometime later in the year and will have to be a pretty special device if Samsung are to stay ahead of the game.
