Leading Sales Trainer and Mentor Anne Conlon will be the keynote speaker at the next Network Ireland Cork webinar on Wednesday, 3 March, which is being held in partnership with Local Enterprise Office Week. The All About Sales – 3 Strategies to Grow Your Revenue online workshop will guide attendees on the sales process, zoning in on three particular strategies.

Health and Mind Coach, Ashleigh Tobin, will also speak at the event on her involvement in the Network Ireland Mentoring for Success panel, with MC for the evening Interior Designer and Home Stager, Maura Mackey. Taking place from 7.30 pm-9 pm, registration is free at http://networkcorkmarch21.eventbrite.ie.

Speaking ahead of the webinar, Anne Conlon, Founder of All About Sales, said: “COVID-19 has been a hugely significant event in the sales landscape. It has led to a major pivot point — the change from face-to-face to online selling. To embrace this new sales landscape we must look critically at how we are selling, to both find and connect with new customers. It is about long-term sustainable change by transitioning from the customer service — only giving the customer what they want — to customer experience, which is so much more. “

Anne, who was the President of Network Ireland Mayo in 2018 and 2019, added: “I am a strong believer in empowerment, personal development, and confidence-building. I am extremely passionate about business and, in particular, supporting women in business. I want people to leave the workshop with a realistic plan for their sales target for this year and the confidence to have the sales conversation and practice in how to close the deal.”

The webinar will be held in partnership with the Local Enterprise Office, Cork City and is one of over 200 events taking place across Local Enterprise Week virtually from Monday, 1 March to Friday, 5 March. The annual event offers supports designed to help entrepreneurs plan, start and grow their business.

Network Ireland Cork’s president Barbara Nugent said: “While strong female leaders are not new, the past 12 months has really shone a spotlight on the incredible work being done by influential women. In her barrier-breaking victory speech last year, Kamala Harris said she may be the first female vice president of the USA, but she will not be the last. She spoke about “possibilities”, and female leaders such Kamala, along with New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern; Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel; and Prime Minister of Finland, Sanna Marin are making history.

“These are just a small sample of trailblazer women who are forging a gender-equal world, with renewed hope. At Network Ireland, we are united in celebrating women’s achievements and increasing visibility. We are delighted to partner with the Local Enterprise Office, Cork City just ahead of International Women’s Day on 8 March. This provides us a platform outside of our own organisation to celebrate and applaud women’s achievements at all levels with such strong advocates for female leadership like Anne Conlon, Ashleigh Tobin and Maura Mackey.”

Network Ireland Cork, a not-for-profit organisation for women in business and the arts, is the largest branch of Network Ireland in the country. For more information visit www.networkireland.ie/cork.
