We look at this positive initiative to help inspire people, support their mental health and also raise funds for the NHS. See more about it here, and also on Amazon here.

Resilient Voices: True stories of Resilience, Positivity and Hope from a pandemic, reviewed

This book is a good idea, and it comes during and towards the end, hopefully, of a deeply challenging period for the world. It is also quite unique, at least in the last hundred years, where almost everywhere in the world, at around the same time, it has affected us all. In this context it is faired to say that, to a greater or lesser degree, this has been a shared experience. This book, with a range of authors then works as perhaps something to dip into every now and then, or once a day, to get a different take on how a different individual dealt with these pandemic times.

In this context the book works well. We all suffered similar issues, but our approaches to dealing with it were varied and numerous. It is also great that the funds are going to a super important cause, the both fantastic and yet also groaning at the seams, NHS. In this potpourri way you may well find something inspirational and useful in your own life. If not then dip into someone else’s experiences and insights into how they dealt with the pandemic. We hope the campaign goes well and were happy to review it to help raise the word about it.

More about the book

Publisher and Anthologist Brenda Dempsey brings together 45 Voices to share their true stories of resilience, positivity and hope from a pandemic.

Sharing their experiences of surviving through a pandemic, and other stressful situations life throws at us, the 45 Voices come from all walks of life – from doctors and nurses, to parents and business owners – raising their voices and sharing their real-life inspirational stories, to show their bouncebackability and resilience.

Each of the contributors are New-Found Heroes in their own way, baring their souls and finding the courage to allow themselves to be vulnerable, in a pandemic that in many ways unites us.

All profits of Resilient Voices will be donated to the NHS in gratitude for their commitment, dedication and going beyond the duty of their role to support, help and protect lives.

Publishing a new publishing house born during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

In honour of the committed, dedicated and compassionate men and women who gave more than expected during our greatest time of need, I have chosen to support their work by bearing all costs and publishing a book filled with 45 newfound heroes’ resilient voices.

These ordinary men and women said YES with ease and grace in support of this project and the giving back to the NHS.

I am asking that you buy this book in Kindle format on 5th July and then paperback on 31st August so we can not only reach #1 bestseller status but that all the profits raised will go directly to the NHS.

In memory of those who lost their lives too soon.

Thank you with gratitude, appreciation and love

Brenda
