By “Alisha Bee” Forrester Scott
I am currently full-speed ahead in my drive to save and restore local bees and institute safe food supply systems. The fastest way to do this– from idea to materialization of it– is accomplished mostly through collaborative agreements with entrepreneurs and teams of compassionate professionals who also consider themselves environmentalists.
Since 2012, I have been active in building community interest around saving bees. Since 2013, my focus has been on educating communities about (local) native solitary bees, which are different than Honey bees in colonies. I began studying regenerative agriculture in December 2018.
On top of studying about local bees and how to build homes for them, I have learned about regenerative agriculture and the benefits of preparing and stewarding soil before planting seeds. I have been learning about the problem of misinformed and uninformed farmers and consumers.
I have adopted regenerative agriculture and compatible green technologies; bringing them into my daily work. I have already seen the promise of certain soil technologies working in the fields and peoples’ back yard gardens, too. Not many people out there know about the specifics of the information I share here below.
In essence, I have found that soil–as nature intended–is perhaps the most important technology we have access to as human beings. Of course, animals are affected by our behaviours and treatments of the Earth and natural resources in all their outdoor environments. We poison the Earth that kills living things from all walks of life. Especially, soil animals and beneficial insects.
I have also learned that soil is in some ways like mysterious alien technology. As you perhaps have already learned, scientists now understand that soil is even more complex than the organic matter we find in space. Soil is different everywhere, but all soils need the same nourishment and biological life present to create seed life. Most people do not understand how a seed grows and how soil “works” with the seed. I want to understand and spend time each week learning more about who is doing what, and how it all works.
Since January, I have officially begun collaborating with two soil subject material experts here out of Arizona. Born from my passion, I now operate a firm that has a catalogue of some exclusive green technologies. As such, today I bring great news of how technology in soil health and food yields never before conceived are coming along very nicely. Despite what most people do not know they do not know, as it goes in the realm of soil technologies, some major pieces of the food supply and waters savings puzzle have just recently been found.
With consistency in clinic and field tests, new to market soil amendments will increase crop yields 200-500%+ with a single application (commercial or home crops). Results on average are clocking a 30% water savings while decreasing the crop cycle time. Moreover, you can eat and drink the stuff! By incorporating this new soil amendment technology, soil remediation is possible in record time. All these results (and a list of others) are possible because the new technology is not plant food or standard fertilizer, but instead, focus energy into the soil to prepare it for the seed’s journey.
Obviously, farmers and consumers are marketed to. Modern marketplaces provide the worst possible solutions–they sell ecocide and make money from it. It’s insane. Marketing seems to have everyone by their ears. There are too many products on the market for making plants and trees grow “better, faster…”
Personally, reading labels on farming and gardening products only inform me a little, anymore. This is because hardly ANY firms want others to know the ingredients in their product formulations. Worse still, relatively few organic soil treatments exist on the market for farmers and consumers. Everyone thinks you have to spray the plants or give them plant food. Many experts who speak against agro-chemical giants say that this is all by marketing design.
When considering the safety of common dry material or liquid fertilizers and their actual effectiveness:
By comparing differences of popular dry material or liquid fertilizers to these new dry material and liquid soil amendments:
To recap, it is my opinion that a class of new super-safe mineral-based farming products that are being privately sold are the only way forward as we recover from our insane dependence on fertilizers and topical solutions. The soil amendment technology is bound to come to Ireland as soon as a distribution partner can be found. I could go on in a more white paper formal fashion, but this advanced soil technology is already available in North America. Dear reader, click my LinkedIn profile link below or E-Mail and request that I send you the soil amendment resource information. It would be my pleasure to do so.
