James is an Associate Director in the KPMG R&D incentives practice. Prior to joining KPMG he spent 5 years working as a research microbiologist investigating diseases such as tuberculosis and MRSA in the University of Auckland as part of the Bioluminescent Superbugs lab group. This involved making dangerous germs glow in the dark so we could understand what kills them and how they cause disease. He has a PhD in Microbiology and a MSc in Biotechnology from UCC and a BA mod Sci from Trinity College.”
