Interesting interview with Steve Tsou, the Global Chief Executive Officer of RRMine & Superb Grace Limited.
Thank you Simon, it’s a pleasure to talk about my opinion about Computing power and blockchain technology with you and readers at Irish Tech News.
What is your own background briefly?
I’m Steve from Australia, the Global CEO of RRMine & Superb Grace Limited, a blockchain professional, and an outspoken supporter of Bitcoin and decentralization.
Does it seem like a logical background to what you do now?
Yes, I have experience in several industries like Blockchain, electronic engineering, international e-commerce and Fintech. The reason I choose Blockchain is the application of the Blockchain industry has great potentials and plays an important role in new technological innovation and industrial transformation.
Computing power is a type of productivity, in the form of digital asset. It is the foundation of all computing. With the rapid development of cloud computing, big data, the IoT, artificial intelligence and other technologies, computing power will become more and more important in the future digital world.
How was the last 12 months?
The last 12 months was full of challenges and opportunities for the cloud computing industry, as we speak, the autopilot mode of Tesla vehicle is almost ready for large scale application. Their share price is reaching historical peak. As for my main focus, the Bitcoin hashrate computing area, Bitcoin mining difficulty keep increasing in the last 12 months, now it reached 15.47 T, which is the highest from 2010.
The logic behind all these facts is that human civilization is reaching a new era, an era of computing. This transition required more computing power and large scale operation, a few international giant computing service companies will dominate the industry in near future. We are aiming at that role.
1 min pitch for what you are doing now?
As a big believer of Bitcoin and decentralization, I’m working with my RRMine team to build a one-stop decentralized Bitcoin hashrate asset management and trading platform to meet the hashrate demand for individual and institutional investors around the world. And our story will not stop at Bitcoin mining, since RRMine already have nearly 20 cooperative global data centers, we are aiming at global cloud computing service as well.
How soon will Quantum computing be a usable technology for us to use?
Quantum computing technology is growing rapidly, global giants like Google and IBM are focus on it. As well as the Quantum-proof encryption technology. I think after 5 years Quantum computing technology can have some amazing applications that can benefit the whole world.
Why do you think it is such a powerful idea? Will it crack all passwords very soon?
Quantum computing is next level technology no doubt. But I don’t think it will simply crack our passwords, because Quantum-proof encryption technology also developing rapidly. A lot of digital asset management platforms deployed Quantum-proof encryption technology, including ours.
Why did you get involved with increasing computing power?
Like I said, our world is at the beginning of a new economic and technological cycle. We have entered the digital economic civilization. This wave of technology is driven by the combination of AI, 5G, quantum computing, big data and blockchain. People have started realizing that in the age of the digital economy, computing power is the most important and innovative form of productivity.
As a pioneer who involved in computing power infrastructure, I strongly feel that historical opportunity window of computing power asset management business is opening at 2020. It’s RRMine’s mission to provide stable and reliable computing power service to customers all over the world.
How can people find out more about you personally & your work?
Personally I have my own column at Forbes, I do hope I can also work with Irish Tech News to write more opinions about Cutting-edge technologies.
As for my work, you can always find us at www.rrmine.com, we love to show to the world how our computing power asset service can make this world a better place.
Anything else you’d like to add / we should have asked?
Yes, as the leader of a group Bitcoin mining experts, I want to point out that Bitcoin Halving is coming, it will happen on 20th May 2020. I’m confident that Bitcoin price will go up in the next several months, base on historical data. Now it’s a good time to get involved in the Bitcoin mining business to get your first Bitcoin.
