With the shortage of accommodation in the capital reaching crisis point, ‘Moving’ just got easier.

Property Button, one of Ireland’s early property market disrupters is at it again. This time, the Dublin-based team of proptech (property technology) innovators is solving problems for frustrated Dublin tenants through their free communications platform ‘Moving’.

Using the power of the cloud, this new tool is designed to simplify and speed up the entire moving process for tenants. Similar to LinkedIn (or Tinder!), Tenants register and sign up for free in order to start completing their secure Tenant Profile. Significantly, this helps potential tenants to demonstrate how they would be an excellent choice for a property by showing the duration of previous tenancies, landlord references and many other features, while allowing them to retain full control over their personal data.

How it works: By analysing previous tenancy behaviour, ‘Moving’ enables letting and estate agents to identify ideal tenants in a compliant way and move them into suitable properties quickly and efficiently.

” ‘Moving’ provides all the tools the agent needs to filter, identify, invite, offer and move ideal tenants into their properties efficiently,” said Jim Urell, CEO Property Button.

For potential tenants, by signing up to ‘Moving’, they can find out where they are ranked on the system, to see how quickly they’ll get a viewing for a particular property, they can add more information to improve their ranking, such as validated previous landlord or work references and they can ensure all their utilities, including energy, waste and media services, are set up in their new property on moving day.
