Pinterest has launched version 4.0 of their iPhone app which comes with a sleek new interface and speed improvements. The Pinterest team say that it has “de-cluttered and simplified” navigation within the app so that it is faster and easier to find your way around.

There is also more space for Pin images and descriptions which makes it easier to sift around the vast amount of content which is now on Pinterest itself. Some buttons have also been moved around, specifically those for search and upload.

Pinterest also claim that the start up time for the app has greatly improved so that you can open it up and get pinning faster than ever before.

The new look is exclusive to iPhone at the moment but will be rolled out to the Android and iPad platforms over the upcoming weeks. The iPhone update is available in the App Store now.
