PFH Technology Group Donates €10,000 to Pieta House

Pieta House received a donation of €10,000 from leading Irish ICT & Managed Services company, PFH Technology Group to help promote its work.

“Following a successful corporate partnership with PFH’s procurement brand, ITQuickQuotes.ie, which saw us contribute €5 to Pieta House for each quote requested, we have reached our goal of €10,000,” said Declan Van Esbeck, Chief Commercial Officer, PFH Technology Group.

“We’re delighted to be able to provide this significant donation to Pieta House in order to help those in suicidal crisis, those who self-harm and people bereaved by suicide,” said Van Esbeck. “When we started this campaign, we wanted to provide financial support but also, given that suicide remains a serious issue in Ireland, it was our intention to also raise awareness of the services and the free counselling offered by Pieta House. It has allowed PFH and our team to play a small part in supporting a worthwhile cause.”

At the presentation, Cindy O’Connor, Chief Clinical Officer, Pieta House, said, “Pieta is really grateful for the donation and the way PFH has acted positively to develop their ITQuickQuotes.ie campaign to help us. This funding will be put to good use to help prevent suicide and self-harm and to help promote our services nationwide.”

Pieta House provides a free, therapeutic approach to people who are in suicidal distress and those who engage in self-harm. 1800 247 247 number is available to anyone in suicidal distress, anyone bereaved by suicide and also anyone who is worried about a loved one.
