Why Quasa’s blockchain innovations can improve logistics 2.0, Pavel Fedorov

Why Quasa‘s blockchain innovations can improve the world’s logistics, Pavel Fedorov

What is your background briefly?

The main part of my career was in investment banking, I have been doing it since 2003. I worked at leading investment banks in Russia, was engaged in investment consulting for private and institutional clients, creating structured financial products and real estate funds, managing assets and trading in the stock and derivatives markets.

I also helped small and medium-sized companies organize financing of their business through issuing bonds, securitization and sale of shares to private and institutional investors. By 2013, I decided to go in fintech, founded a couple of start-ups, developed on my own funds, but they did not become successful then, although the field of personal financial consulting and marketplace of financial products is now an extremely widespread industry.

Since 2016, I became interested in blockchain and what it can give to the financial sector. In 2017, I became part of the team of the fintech company BANKEX, whose goal is to build a global infrastructure for the circulation of digital assets, tokens backed by real assets, primarily to help medium and small private companies in attracting financing for further business development.

Does it seem like a logical background to what you do now?

Of course, yes, asset tokenization is a new era in the development of financial technologies and the securities market.

1 min pitch for what you are doing now?

At the moment, I am an advisor to Quasa, which I help with institutional partners and investors. Logistics is the circulatory system of the global movement of a wide variety of assets. Quasa’s goal is to fundamentally improve it, including making the process suitable for tokenizing these flows and organizing financing for logistics companies as simple, transparent, efficient and fast as possible.

Why did you get involved with this ICO?

My goal is to make markets more efficient and transparent, that’s where Quasa and my goals are.

Why do you think it is such a powerful idea?

All markets are becoming more efficient, transparent to all parties, it is the turn of the huge logistics industry to change. The industry is ripe for change, the blockchain could become the trigger that will take logistics to a new level of development, and this is exactly what Quasa does.

How can people find out more about 1. The ICO 2. you & your work?

Anyone interested can find all the necessary information on Quasa’s development on the company’s website www.quasa.io. and on the Medium blog.

You can find information about my current activities on my page in Linkedin and on the BANKEX website www.bankex.com
