What was the inspiration to start it?
OpenExpo Europe is founded with the aim of presenting, discovering & evaluting the solutions and trends of the industry offered by Open Source, Free Software and Open World Economy. But above all, to create a meeting point and networking where the main companies, institutions, open source ddevelopers hackers, experts, suppliers and users can debate and feel represented.
What exciting things can people look forward to?
This year we will be hosting 8 forums: 3 sectoral and 5 thematic where will discuss about the tendecies in the sector, the challenges they face and the best practices and solutions. 3

What opportunities are on offer for those attending?
There will be training sessions, start up connector with mentoring sessions, hackaton, communities and more all addressed to networking and business generation. 100% professional profile. Visitors will have an app to download and will be able to have appointments with exhibitors through our website beforehand.

What tips would you give to people attending to get the most out of it?
We suggest to check our website and our social media to have the latest information on our event. We are working working building our community all year around so it would be interesting to suscribe to our newsletter where we will have updated information regarding webinars, our Open Awards, Call4Papers and more.
How can people book tickets / when does it usually sell out?
We will have tickets in our website, through Eventbrite, on sale at the beginning of the year. We expect more than 5,000 professional visitors and the Conferences of our Congress do sell out pretty quickly.
