When and where is it on?

Open Networking Summit Europe will take place on 23-25 September in Antwerp, Belgium this year.

How many years has it been going?

The conference has been running in the US for 9 years and this will be the second event in Europe.

What was the inspiration to start it?

The event is the industry’s premier open networking event and its main inspiration to start it was to enable collaborative development and innovation across enterprises, service providers and cloud providers.

What exciting things can people look forward to?

Attendees will be able to discuss the future of Open Source Networking, including SDN, NFV, VNF, CNF/Cloud Native Networking, Orchestration, Automation of Cloud, Core Network, Edge, Access & IoT services. Edge computing and containers/cloud native are becoming increasingly important within the open networking space and attendees can expect to hear more about both in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning; IoT & Edge; Cloud Native Networking; 5G, Network Automation & DevOps; and Enterprise IT tracks.

Conference standard Registration is $1200 through 8 September, with additional registration options available including $275 Hall Passes, $600 Day Passes, and $500 Student Passes.  Non-profit and group discounts are available as well; details are available on the event registration page.
