oBravo launches the Cupid Basic, a value planar technology earphone

High-end audio specialist, oBravo, today announced it has released a new game-changing earphone for music lovers worldwide. Following the release of the highly acclaimed Cupid earphones in July, oBravo has gone one step further to announce its ultimate value proposition; the ‘Cupid’ Basic. The Basic version has been introduced as a result of customer feedback for those not requiring the high-quality OCC silver-plated balanced cable and enables users to experience cutting-edge technological innovation from oBravo’s own advanced planar dynamic technology. The Cupid Basic is available from selected retailers including Selfridges and Audio Concierge for just £169.

The Cupid Basic has been introduced as oBravo’s entry-level offering, providing everything people love about oBravo at an amazing, economical price. Utilising oBravo’s patented 8mm planar tweeter alongside a neodymium dynamic driver, it offers best in class sonic performance and incredible levels of detail, generally unobtainable from alternative technologies.

oBravo decided on the name Cupid because they believe listeners will instantly fall in love the first time they use the earphone. The stunning brass enclosure has been beautifully finished in a luxurious black gold coating whilst the gorgeous finish of the Cupid Basic provides users with a great build quality that can rarely be achieved at this price.

Phil Wannell, of oBravo UK, commented “The Cupid Basic earphones use technology usually only seen in very expensive earphones or headphones. Some of the most incredible features of the Cupid Basic earphones include its state-of-the-art patented planar magnetic driver, its NDD dynamic driver and its 3.5mm OCC removable cable, perfect for use with a smartphone or portable player.”

Cupid by oBravo is a result of patented planar technology, which is known worldwide for offering great sound and remarkable audio quality. It is an established fact that wired earphones offer better quality than Bluetooth devices, and the ergonomically designed Cupid Basic takes that quality to the next level with its stunning brass enclosure

The oBravo Cupid Basic earphones come with a high-quality Ohno continuous casting (OCC) braided cable terminated with a gold plated 3.5mm jack. PRIME and Ultimate editions of Cupid are also available with different cable options at an additional cost.

From watching movies to listening to music, playing video games or having phone calls, these earphones are designed for all occasions and all kinds of users.

Price and availability: The oBravo Cupid Basic wired earphone is available now from selected retail partners including Selfridges and audio concierge for £169.
