Nokia Lumia 800

Nokia finally took to the stage today at the Nokia World conference in London and announced it’s first Windows Phone 7 devices. As expected from all the leaks, it is pretty similar to the ill fated N9. The specs of the two phones differ slightly, the 800 gaining in some areas but loosing out in others.

Here’s a quick run down of the specs:

  • 1.4Ghz Qualcomm single core processor
  • 3.7″ 800 x 480 AMOLED Display
  • 802.11 b/g/n WiFi
  • 8MP dual LED flash camera capable of 720p video capture, no front facing camera
  • 512MBs RAM
  • 16GB internal storage
  • 1450 mAh battery
  • Quadband phone, 14.4Mbps HSPA+
That’s pretty much it. I find it hard to get excited about a phone we have pretty much been looking at for the last 6 months. It begs the question what took Nokia so long to bring this to market.
Let us know what you think below. Would this be enough to make you buy a Windows Phone 7 device or do you think this changes little?
