NOAH Conference Berlin returns 13 and 14 June 2019

The NOAH Conference, the leading industry event of the European digital economy, is inviting established companies, startups and investors to the German capital. For this year the conference has not only been moved to a larger venue to offer expanded networking opportunities but its concept has also been tweaked to cater increasingly to growth companies as well. This year’s program consists of a total of ten different topics that will be discussed by more than 400 speakers on five stages.

NOAH Conference

When and where is it on?

13 and 14 June 2019 at STATION Berlin. After several years the location has changed to a bigger venue to provide room for more stages, networking and exhibitors.

How many editions have been hosted in Berlin so far?

Since the first Conference in London in 2009, NOAH has organised 14 events in total. The Berlin Conference was launched in 2015 and is going into its fifth year.

What was the inspiration to start it?

As former investment bankers at Lehman Brothers, NOAH organisers Marco Rodzynek and Jan Brandes,  wanted to create the first truly pan-European platform to connect digital companies with financial and corporate investors and facilitate knowledge exchange  in the ecosystem.

What exciting things can people look forward to in Berlin?

This is a very exciting year for NOAH. Not only is the event moving to a bigger location, also the concept and program is expanding. The focus of the conference is shifting from purely digital business models to “growth” in general. For the first time, NOAH also covers verticals like Industrial digitisation, EduTech, MedTech, Direct to consumer products and many more. The program will expand from two to five stages and will feature over 400 speakers, almost exclusively founders or CEOs. Also, the venue allows audience growth to 5,000 attendees. Networking remains one of the core value propositions of the event.

What opportunities are on offer for those attending?

The NOAH Conference brings people together and offers exciting contacts that would probably not be possible otherwise. For start-ups the promise is that they can connect to investors and find the event to be a platform with a wide reach to present their business concepts. There will be a Launchpad stage, where young companies raising their angel or series A rounds can present themselves to Europe’s early stage investors – VCs, angels or family offices.

More mature companies can meet leading growth or buyout investors, industry peers, journalists or service providers to help with their growth challenges.

Who will be speaking?

In total, there will be over 400 speakers, organised into ten industry verticals: Fin- & Insurtech, E-Commerce, Marketplace & Classifieds, B2B SaaS, Mobility & Travel of the Future, Industrial Digitisation, Digital Health, Revolutionary Consumer Products, Edutech, Cognitive Computing und Blockchain Powered Businesses.

Speakers include CEOs of companies like AboutYou, AUTO1, Babbel, babylon Health, BlaBlaCar, catawiki, Darktrace, Delivery Hero, Deposit Solutions, Flash, Flixbus, Funding Circle, GetYourGuide, Lemonade, Lilium, Made.com, N26, Omio, On Shoes, Researchgate, Revolut, Scandit, Scout24, Starling Bank, Sumup, Volocopter and Wirecard.

How to get the most out of it?

Preparation can make a key difference. We recommend registering early to fill the calendar with the most important meetings, as some people are already fully booked before the event even starts. The formal networking launches on 17 May with the opening of the Investor Partner Matchmaking.
