1 min pitch for what you are doing now? What are your plans for the future?
DateCoin is now on the track to the upcoming ICO, which starts on March 30, 2018. For this month, as a project CEO I’m participating in multiple conferences and private meetings with potential investors.
Roadshow covers about 10 countries all over the world which we consider as perspective markets. We have already made preliminary deals with several big investors and investment funds. I’m more than sure to get funds from them after personal meetings.
This approach has been shown to be beneficial at PreSale that finished successfully at the end of year 2017. 18M tokens were sold and 2213.75 ETH was raised.
What will you be talking about at this event?
DTC is Ethereum-based (ERC20) highly liquid utility token for fruitful dating worldwide with successful business model employed and user-based growth mechanics implemented. According to Roadmap, the service audience will amount to 20M users by the year 2020. We expect most of them buying tokens at the open market for in-app purchases (additional features and exclusive offers priced in DTC). Moreover, DTC demand will be several times higher compared to emission (according to our team estimates).
Regular app features can be purchased for fiat money, whereas exclusive ones will be available for DTC only. For instance, the user initially has access to 5 photos and 1 video. To get access to all videos for 3 days, he should pay, let’s say, 10 tokens. Token can even be used for getting unlimited lifetime access to the service. Moreover, compared to fist money purchases, when paying with tokens, the users are eligible for special offers. That is how token demand is stimulated.
Right now we have working dating app Denim with 700K+ audience (MVP DateCoin). We expect those users to be interested in buying DTC tokens at the initial stages.
This approach will ensure the token to be in high demand even after ICO is over. It will also influence positively on token exchange rate and popularize blockchain. Another technology we are trying to attract attention to is a distributed data. For instance, Denim users, most of which were unaware of crypto economics, got St. Valentine’s Day appreciation token (DTC). Thus, they got an experience in tokenization, following our step-by-step video guide.
Global online dating market is growing rapidly for several years. According to expert estimates it will amount to $6 billion next year. An additional player involved in this game is a semantic dialogs analyzer, a robot matching you with the partner based on your preferences. I’m more than sure, that our users will be able to find not only a soulmate, but also a friend or even a business partner.
We plan to tackle the problem of fake accounts with blockchain. Trusted user can verify the identity of his partner via blockchain entry at DateCoin distributed data registry. After transaction completed, the partner becomes trusted as well and can verify the identity of other users.
What inspired you to attend it?
When planning PreSale and ICO, I visited numerous crypto conferences worldwide and thus is experienced in picking useful ones. BIISUMMIT is for sure among those. The presence of numerous participants and influential speakers allows to expect positive outcomes from the event.
Which influencers and websites do you follow to keep updated with the latest developments?
Since our project is going to be global, we will have to deal with dozens of crypto world experts interested in DateCoin. This business is done both online and in person. Our advisory board has been recently enhanced significantly with the international experts we always stay in touch with, especially when making key decisions.
