SeedLegals has announced its expansion into Ireland, joining Ireland’s burgeoning tech community and transforming how companies start, grow and scale.
Based out of Ormeau Baths, part of the Irish Hub Network, SeedLegals is a revolutionary legaltechplatform, automating the legal documentation and administration start-ups and investors need to build, fund and grow their business, at a fraction of the time and cost of using traditional solicitors and accountants.
Launched in 2016, SeedLegals has quickly become the UK’s top platform for funding rounds, onboarding more than 25,000 companies. In response to a significant rise in enquiries from Ireland the company has now launched a dedicated Irish offering, in line with Irish law, to enable founders and investors easily create, negotiate and sign all the legal agreements required to finalise a funding round.
In addition to helpful tools such as a cap table builder, contracts and agreements and share options schemes, unique features include:
- Pitch – an investor pitching and tracking solution
- SeedFAST – advanced subscription agreements
- EIS and SEIS Approval – for Irish companies raising funds from UK investors
- SeedOptions – options schemes to attract talent and engage employees
- Fundraise – the most powerful workflow for all your fundraising legals
SeedLegals was founded by serial entrepreneur, Anthony Rose and serial angel investor Laurent Laffy. Rose’s career has spanned across many sectors including video streaming, while his renowned work launching the BBC iPlayer saw him dubbed “The man behind BBC iPlayer”. Between Rose and Laffy, they have successfully founded, invested in and sold multiple start-ups and spotted the giant gap in the market to automate the legals required when creating a startup or small businesses.
CEO and Founder, Anthony Rose commented:
“Ireland is a hotbed for innovative, tech start-ups, representing a huge opportunity for SeedLegals. Until now, the legals surrounding setting up a business, and securing investment have been complex, lengthy and costly. We’re disrupting the legal industry and changing the way companies start, grow and scale. Whether you’re a founder or an investor, we make the funding process easy, saving users time, money and hassle.”
