Information Evening to be held 24 June NDRC, Dublin 8

NDRC @NDRC_hq  today announced its search for the next wave of entrepreneurs with digital ideas and products capable of attracting investment and achieving commercial returns to participate in NDRC LaunchPad.  The programme received 170 applications for 8 places on the last iteration earlier this year, with those selected to take part receiving up to €20,000 in pre seed investment and expert development and commercial support. An Information Evening will be held on Wednesday 24 June next, in NDRC on Crane Street, Dublin 8 at 6.30pm for prospective candidates. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the NDRC team, other portfolio companies and find out more about the programme and the application process.

NDRC LaunchPad, which was been running since 2010, takes place over three months and isfocused on working with startups to refine their product offering, research and identify their target markets and check their commercial viability.  Non sector specific in focus, NDRC seeks strong entrepreneurial ideas in the digital space, with the potential for high impact. Previous participants have included NewsWhip and Soundwave.

Speaking about the programme, Mr Gary Leyden @Gary_Leyden said, “Participants benefit from hands-on mentoring and access to unparalleled expertise. They will participate in weekly workshops and network with acknowledged thought leaders. At the end of the three months they will have the opportunity to pitch to investors for further investment”.

The overall deadline for applications to NDRC LaunchPad is July 3 with full details on the application process available on www.ndrc.ie.

NDRC was recently ranked as the 3rd Most Active Accelerator with money in Europe by the Fundacity European Accelerator Report.
