Damien English, Minister for Skills, Research and Innovation delivered the keynote speech at the Trinity Research and Innovation Department to celebrate the registration of Trinity’s 500th invention disclosure.
This marks a decade of consistent innovation and the successful progression of academic discoveries into viable commercial products. This has also generated the creation of jobs and brought financial wealth to Ireland. As Ireland continues to strive to punch above it’s weight in the tech sector Trinity and many other colleges around Ireland play a vital role in creating the platform for further successes .
The Minister, trying out the latest developments in interactive spatial audio using headphones and Oculus Rift.
