A new SIM only offer has also been launched by Meteor, giving unlimited calls, texts and 1GB of data (unlimited until 1st May) for €30 per month.
Meteor also announced that Unlimited Data on their 4G network will be extended until May. The offer, which had been due to expire on March 1, has now been extended to May 1.
Director of Mobile, Niall Dorrian, stated that the move is a response to customer demand. “We have been blown away by the response we’ve had to our 4G service since our launch last September. We want to give everyone a chance to try it out, so adding two extra months to our Unlimited Data offer will really give customers a chance to find their feet and celebrate the speed themselves. Faster is always better!”
Meteor supports 4G on a range of 17 smartphones, as well as other devices including MiFi and dongles. Their 4G service is available in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway with 40% population coverage nationwide.
