Meetingsbooker.com has expanded its operations in Dublin this week following a €1 million funding round late last year.
The online venue booking portal has just doubled their workforce by hiring 11 new employees, with CEO Ciaran Delaney expecting to have 35 full-time staff by the end of this year.
Delaney said, “We are delighted to be expanding our operations here in Dublin. We just moved into new offices on Monday, to accommodate our ever-growing team. We currently have 21 full-time employees, but we expect to have 35 by the end of the year.”
“We launched a new booking engine on our site in January, and this has led to our conversion rates increasing by up to 150%. The next step is rolling out our three-stage website re-development plan and a new platform which will make our site available in 6 languages,” he says.
Meetingsbookers’ rapid growth has been driven organically via online marketing and this year will facilitate over 500,000 searches for conference and meeting venues around the world.Their cloud-based software allows meeting organizers to send venues their event requirements and quickly receive competitive offers, which they can book directly through the site.
