Founder and CEO of MediaCon, Lesley O’Connor added: “While Ireland has a strong arts heritage and creative culture, we have not succeeded in developing a reputation for the delivery of world-class television content. We need to look at a strategy for the development of internationally marketable content for global television and digital audiences. We need to look at what countries like Denmark have achieved and are delighted that the so-called Father of Scandinavian drama Ingolf Gabold is flying into the Summit to shares his insights.”
The two-day conference will feature keynotes, panels and fireside interviews with key speakers, as well a programme of in-depth workshops, roundtables and master-classes to compliment the main conference and a full marketplace for business development and access to decision makers. The Summit will also host creative talent from the TV and entertainment industry and all those interested in the evolution of the content industry.
