Founded in London in 2012 with 120 attendees, MeasureCamp has grown to become a global event, taking place in 25 cities worldwide in 2019 including San Francisco, Sydney, Rome, Paris, Moscow, Madrid and more.
MeasureCamp is a free event run by volunteers to nurture, support and share knowledge within the digital analytics community. Selling and sales talks are frowned upon – it’s not your typical conference, it’s the opposite – the “unconference” format has no scheduled presentations.
It’s a little bit chaotic, in a way, but that’s part of the fun. There’s an empty session board at the start of the day. Don’t worry, it gets filled quickly by attendees booking themselves in for slots to deliver pre-prepared presentations, hold technical conversations or lead spontaneous brainstorms. MeasureCamp is an inclusive event – anyone is welcome to attend, join the conversation, hold a session or simply sit back and learn from their peers.
Michael Wilson, Digital Analytics Director (GlowMetrics) and part of the MeasureCamp Dublin organising team, says, “Having travelled to London to attend MeasureCamp multiple times, it’s really exciting to be part of hosting the event in Dublin – not just because it’s closer to home – but because there’s such an amazing tech scene here; so many talented people to connect with and learn from.”
MeasureCamp is deliberately held on a non-workday. This means attendees really want to be there – they’ve given up a day of their free time; they’re not just going along to get a day off work!
The event is 100% free thanks to our sponsors; there will be breakfast, lunch and refreshments for attendees, an assortment of free swag and maybe a well-earned beer for those who stay ‘til the end.
MeasureCamp Dublin takes place on Saturday, 19th October 2019, at Google, Gordon House, 4 Barrow Street, Dublin, Ireland.
Limited to 150 attendees, tickets will be released in phases so you’ll have multiple chances to secure your place. The first ticket release will take place on Monday, 24th June, at 10 am BST at https://dublin.measurecamp.org. Be warned, they usually sell out quickly so set a reminder!
Further ticket releases will take place in the coming weeks – follow @MeasureCampIE on Twitter to keep up to date with all the latest information.
