Last week, Rezoomo, launched a complete revamp of its online Talent Attraction platform. With market-leading innovation, the new platform promises to revolutionise the efficiency and effectiveness of in-house recruitment.
CEO Cathal Doorley & COO Seamus Clinch redesigned Rezoomo.com in line with changing market trends and evolving customer needs. In an increasingly competitive jobs market, companies struggle to attract talent with traditional text job descriptions. Video, on the other hand, can increase the rate of job application by up to 34%. Commenting on the relaunch, CEO Cathal Doorley said: ‘We’ve made video and audio job ads a core part of the Rezoomo offering. We realised we needed to give customers a new and more engaging way to reach candidates. The beauty of video is that it allows companies to really bring a role, organisation, and culture to life, in a way that text never could’.
It is also possible, using Rezoomo, to leverage video for candidate communication. According to COO, Seamus Clinch: ‘60% of candidates say better communication would improve their recruitment experience. Not only does Rezoomo allow bulk, customisable e-mail communication with candidates, but now we also offer video messaging’.
Headquartered in Cork, Rezoomo has always been a pioneering force in the world of video recruitment. Since its inception in 2016 Rezoomo, which is also used by job seekers to create digital CV’s, has enabled candidates to record video introductions. ‘Getting a candidate on camera, allows them to showcase their personality and enthusiasm for a role. We wanted to give candidates a way to stand out from the crowd. Whilst giving employers some early insight into prospective hires.’ Cathal Doorley, CEO.
Having raised €500,00 to date from Enterprise Ireland and angel investors, Rezoomo is aiming to close a series A round of funding for upwards of €2m in the coming months. This funding will be used to power the ongoing expansion of the business, as Rezoomo moves into the UK market.
