Vintius Racing competed at the Irish National Finals in TU Dublin earlier on this year where they came 2nd place overall and won their place in Abu Dhabi.
At the World Finals, Vintius Racing won two very prestigious awards, ‘Outstanding Sportsmanship Award’ and the ‘Fastest Reaction Time Award’. “The competition was intense, but we made sure to work our hardest at every hurdle and it has paid off”, says Eoghan Carroll.
The team also enjoyed the Yas Marina Circuit and met many famous F1 personalities such as commentator David Croft, ex-Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg, F1 Chief Executive Officer Chase Carey, all in all, an experience of a lifetime. They were well supported by their DCG Teacher Mr Hardiman and Deputy Principal Mr Kelly.
