Madi’s story is one of ‘Victim to Change maker’ as her personal journey has taken her through the University of Life where she experienced domestic violence, sole parental responsibility and Entrepreneurship. She established her first company from her kitchen at home, which grew to 2 factories and 35 staff. She has received the honours of Asian Woman of Achievement and UK’s Best Boss.

This is a very personal book with a goal to help many people achieve their own digital transformations. As you may know from previous interviews we have published with Madi she experienced some major challenges and traumas in her life. At this stage in her life journey she feels that these previous experiences have all helped her to become the person she now is. As with many people who have an inspirational tale to tell, the book option enables them to reach a wider audience.

At first you wonder if such a personal approach will work, but it does because you can see that the aim is to say ‘if I can do this, then you can too…’ Some of her learning experiences are shocking in terms of how badly she was treated by others, but hopefully these are insights that enable her, and us, to filter faster in terms of working out who we should and should not give our time and energy too.

The look, touch and feel of the book are great, with the cover and paper having the feel of handmade paper in a Nepalese style. While the design of the book is great, I would have a reservation about the ring-binder approach to the pages as multiple readings often tend to rip and damage the paper quite fast. Overall it’s a good book, it’s clearly aimed to be one to inspire you, which is a good thing to pick up and read every now and then, weekend reading for some big picture perspective on where we are going with our lives.
