After an entertaining pitch competition at the NDRC the winner for the Start Tel Aviv (TLV): Ireland competition www.startirelandtlv.com) was announced. After being selected from over 20 entrants, the overall winner was LogoGrab, (www.logograb.com) Dublin based firm using augmented reality for major brands advertising campaigns to improve their customer experience and bringing their digital marketing into real life in 3 minutes.

In a tight run race, Evercam (www.evercam.io), which technology makes it easy to integrate cameras into any project received a golden ticket invite to Tel Aviv.

The judging panel included Brian Caulfield (DFJ Esprit), Colette Sexton (SundayBusiness Post), Darren Daly (Byrne Wallace) and Sharon Asnin-Weissblech (CitiBank) and the awards were presented by the Israeli Ambassador and Deputy Ambassador Boaz Modai and Nurit Tinari–Modai
Start TLV is an international startup competition, which the top innovative startups companies from 20 different countries are selected for the opportunity to attend a 5 day intense startup experience to learn from the startup ecosystem in Tel Aviv and meet with leading investors and multinationals. The Irish team will be joined by teams from Colombia, Chile, Norway, New Zealand, South Korea, Sweden, Italy, Denmark, Germany, Spain, UK, Hungary, France, South Africa, India, Japan, China, Japan, Holland, Serbia. The winners and Evercam will also be given the opportunity to attend Israel’s leading tech conference DLD Tel Aviv (www.dldtelaviv.com) and present at the Irish Innovation Showcase as part of Tel Aviv Entrepreneur Week. Finally, Logograb will also be provided with up to €2,500 of free legal services by Byrne Wallace
