LIFX has announced Apple HomeKit support for its existing LIFX and LIFX + line of products.
Starting today, consumers can control their LIFX lights with their voice through the Apple Home app or via Siri on their iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, and Apple Watch.
Consumers lights will now work seamlessly and securely with other HomeKit-enabled devices. One command will allow them to interact with multiple parts of their smart home at the same time, creating a completely unified experience.
“The HomeKit ecosystem is something we’re thrilled to be a member of. Apple builds amazing experiences and we’re excited to see LIFX added to the HomeKit ecosystem,” said Marc Alexander, Chief Executive Officer at LIFX.
Automate your lighting
With the Home App and compatible Apple TV or iPad, you can automate your HomeKit enabled accessories to all be controlled from the same interface. One touch scenes can automatically run at a certain time, location, or remotely control your HomeKit accessories to grant access to the people you trust.
