LetsGetChecked, leading health insights company that allows consumers direct access to a range of testing options and clinical services from home, today officially announced 70 jobs in their Dublin office and further 50 jobs internationally with plans to expand the team to 250, nearly doubling their global headcount by the end of 2020.
The new jobs come as it was also announced industry leaders Troy Cox and Sasha Khursheed Said were joining its senior ranks.
The 120 roles include positions on the engineering, technical, nursing and customer solutions teams, with many of the roles based in LetsGetChecked’s new offices in Dun Laoghaire. The technical roles span functions across software engineering, developing, design, devops, security and compliance.
The growth in staff will allow LetsGetChecked to continue to expand and increase access to the company’s unique health testing and clinical services platform. The company currently employs 129 staff between its New York and Dublin offices.
Peter Foley, the CEO and founder of LetsGetChecked said the new jobs will help the company build on their success so far, “LetsGetChecked has grown rapidly in the last few years and our Series B funding round with LTP laid the groundwork for exciting partnerships. We have plans for further expansion to allow for an even more diverse offering of home health tests and clinical services in 2020. These new jobs will help us as we expand internationally and the hires on our engineering team will help us further develop our technology platform to give people more control over their personal health and wellbeing.”
Consultant Physician and LetsGetChecked Medical Director Dr. Dominic Rowley spoke about the value LetsGetChecked brought to consumers: “Having been apart of LetsGetChecked from the beginning, it’s fantastic to watch the company grow year on year as a contemporary addition to the healthcare system. LetsGetChecked is a necessity within a model that is simply over-stretched. We are in no way taking away from the importance of seeing your doctor, if you are worried, our highly skilled medical team can guide you in the right direction. LetsGetChecked ensures that consumers can access health tests quickly and conveniently empowering people to live longer, happier lives.”
LetsGetChecked also announced the appointment of former CEO and President of Foundation Medicine Troy Cox to its Board of Directors and Sasha Khursheed Said as new Senior Vice President of Revenue.
Cox brings more than 30 years of proven performance in global, strategic and commercial healthcare leadership. At Foundation Medicine he increased revenue by more than three-fold, established and strengthened 50+ key industry partnerships while nearly tripling the number of employees as it reached a $5.3million valuation and was acquired by Roche in 2018. Said has more than a decade of experience helping companies such as Vera Whole Health, BHE, Groups Recover Together, and notably Health Catalyst build and scale commercial operations and new growth opportunities. She is also co-Founder and Chairman of The Pharma Digital Health Roundtable, which convenes senior level life science leaders bi-monthly to foster the adoption of innovative digital solutions in the life sciences industry.
In May this year, LetsGetChecked announced $30 Million in Series B funding, with LTP, a Boston-based growth equity investment firm focused on healthcare IT, leading the round and bringing total funding to $48.9m.
