1 min pitch for what you are doing now?
We’re building tools that will help businesses get more organized in their everyday processes so they can increase their productive output. Tools that work together, but that also integrate with other products people use in their everyday work. We’re looking to the future and planning the next products. We’re building our brand and growing our team. We’re moving into new markets, we’re constantly evolving and trying new things.
How was the last 12 months, what worked well for Teamwork, what didn’t move as quickly as you would have liked?
For us the biggest thing right now is hiring developers. If we had more of that resource it means we could roll out more features at a faster rate. Unfortunately, we can’t seem to get those but have been very lucky with the ones we have found. At the same time the last 12 months has seen us expand out our sales teams, move into a new office, release some really powerful features, add an EU hosting option to our products and improve on a lot of process related things that have increased our output.
What are Teamwork’s plans for the future?
Our plan for the future is to keep improving on our existing products and add more. We’ve recently started work on our fourth product and it’s coming along very nicely.

What will you be talking about at this event?
I’ll share some of the things I’ve learned from working with a rapidly growing SaaS business, what we’ve done well and what we could have done better.

What inspired you to speak at it?
I heard about FutureScope previously and when Donal approached me to speak I was more than happy to do so. I think events like this one provide a great opportunity to connect with the Irish tech community and give you a chance to not only share your story but hear other stories and learn from them too.
Which influencers and websites do you follow to keep up to date with the latest developments?
For me I’m a big fan of the Marketing School podcast by Neil Patel, I read his blog religiously as well. Lately I’ve started listening to the Seeking Wisdom Podcast with David Cancel from Drift. A lot of his stuff is very relevant to what we’re trying to achieve at Teamwork. Website wise I follow anything from Mashable, to Techcrunch, The Next Web and of course Irish Tech News

How can people find out more about what you are working on?
Whatever we’re working on will be on our roadmap. Outside of that we’re always working on improving things whether that’s our website or our pricing.
Anything else you’d like to add / we should have asked?
We’re Hiring – lots of open positions here.
