Leading IT Solutions Provider, Ergo announces expansion into Asia-Pacific region with New Zealand office opening

Ergo, Ireland’s leading IT solutions provider has announced further expansion of its growing global footprint with the opening of its first office in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. Supported by Enterprise Ireland, and based in New Zealand, the new office is part of the company’s ambitious international growth strategy, which hopes to see Ergo have at least 50 percent of its business originate outside of Ireland by 2025.

This expansion into the APAC region will bolster Ergo’s growing global Managed Services proposition, by offering its multinational customers a ‘follow the sun’ approach delivering more cohesive and efficient 24/7 services. It will also see the company scale it’s out of hours capability for its growing global customer base. With teams based in Ireland, the UK, the US, Romania, Colombia and now New Zealand, Ergo can ensure even greater continuity, without the limitations of time zones and geographies.

The office, based in Auckland, will have an initial headcount of seven full-time employees, some of whom have relocated from Ireland to help establish Ergo’s presence in the region.

Growing Capability

Already trusted by some of the world’s leading companies, Ergo will provide expert IT implementation, bespoke and insights-led advice, and proactive IT managed services in New Zealand. It will partner with existing and new customers, to help them with their cloud and infrastructure, modern work, and application and software needs, making them more agile, efficient, and compliant. The team in New Zealand will also perform critical services that typically take place out of business hours such as vulnerability detection in the case of cyber-attacks as well as facilitating necessary software patching and updates.

This latest development comes after Ergo’s recent announcement that it became the first company in Ireland to implement the ServiceNow Managed Service Provider platform as part of a €3 million investment. This technology includes cutting edge AI capability and is anticipated to transform Ergo’s customer service offering and significantly enhance the company’s IT Managed Services proposition as it continues to grow at pace.
